JusKeepBreathin 19,311
The Reforming American Immigration for Strong Employment Act, or RAISE Act, favors people between the ages of 26 and 30 with a doctorate, high English proficiency and a job offer with a high salary. Applicants would need at least 30 points to be eligible to apply for a visa under the proposal If Trump had his way and it became law, find out if you are eligible to immigrate to the US legally: http://time.com/4887574/trump-raise-act-immigration/ The bill, introduced by Republican Senators David Perdue and Tom Cotton, has failed to gain traction beyond the President's endorsement and is unlikely to pass Congress. JusKeepBreathin 19,311
I have my BA in the US and I am fully fluent in English. I didn't qualify. Even if I would have had a Masters I still would not have qualified. RAMROD 117,004
This won't pass. Most people with doctorate are beyond those age limit. This law is just another way Trump trying to block legal immigration. I don't think it;ll pass tbh. This country need young generation to pass the torch to so this place keep running. Not some doctorates in their retirement age. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ ᶠʳᵒⁿᵗ ᵗᵒʷᵃʳᵈ ᵉⁿᵉᵐʸ (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡
