My god, this movie has been SO polarizing. It got an "F" from Cinemascore (like just 10 films have received this score in the last 30 years). 

Critics are divided and the public is hating it. It's super, super, super controversial. Jesus.

I looked it up and it's true. 70% score on Rotten Tomatoes, which is good and many praised the direction and Jennifer Lawrence's acting. Still some panned it like it's the worst movie ever released.

Some people think it's an Academy Award Best Picture contender.

Apparently the third act is super brutal and disgusting and over the top (and incredibly stupid, according to some people).

I can't wait tho. Aronofsky is a good/respected director.  What happened? 

Even The Emoji Movie got a decent Cinemascore. And every terrible movie out there. This is something else. People must feel personally offended or something.
