How can I listen in the US???!??!?  I can't wait anymore!!!!

It leaked, go to daily new jams

Rainbow is truly THE album of 2017. On first listen, I didn't like it as much as Melodrama, HFK and maybe even Witmess. But I listened for a second time and I got shookt

So I always take a few days to let music sink in before I can give my opinion about it, so here goes:

So I've liked Kesha from the beginning, but fell in love with her when I saw her live during the Warrior World Tour. She gave me that raw passion and stage presence that made me fall in love with Gaga too. She showed me there's more behind her pop girl persona (just like Gaga) and I've been dreaming of her doing more rock and country sounds. You can imagine how I was looking forward to this album. I'm kinda sad to say that I really tried, but she didn't live up to the hype for me. So there's a couple of flaws for me that kinda turned me off:

First of all is the start of the era. Praying was amazing and it made me cry on the first spin. Sadly, she didn't gave the songs room to breathe and then released three songs the weeks after. It felt way too fast for me and I liked each song less than the one before.

Secondly she somehow decided to put all these released songs next to each other on the album. When you only listen to albums from start to finish (thank you ARTPOP) this album is actually quite a tough cookie. It has a very slow starter (Bastards), a great second song (Let 'Em Talk) and then four singles I already heard before. It makes me lose focus while listening to the album.

Lastly, the albums has high highs, but very meh lows. All these factors make it hard for me to keep listening to the album from start to finish and just listen to the few songs I love.

Sorry for the long post :awkney:

A. I can totally see where you're coming from with this post and I totally agree, however it is a bit hard for the lows to be as low as they can without Kesha seeming like she's coming for Luke, because that won't make her case any easier if she's attacking him publicly. He never attacked her on social media, he only denied his assault.

B. The person in your DP is beautiful :awkney:

I was talking about the songs themselves, not necessarily the lyrics. Songs like Bastards, Hymn and Old Flames may have beautiful messages, but the songs just can't keep my attention cause I find them boring sonically.

(That person is me, boo. Check my Insta; it's linked to my profile)

Welll her mom cowrote it, and she already covered in acoustically on her Deconstructed EP. You know she's proud and keeping it alive
