I've been wondering because The Forum's capacity is listed as 17,500 on Wikipedia and Staples Center can accomodate 19,000 during a concert. „I allow myself to fail. I allow myself to break. I don't think capacity is the real reason, even if they booked Staples centre and not sold out, they can simply fence some parts off to make it look full, Gaga sold out 2 The Forum shows anyway. I saw Gwen there in October, it wasn’t finished at the time, but it was much nicer than how it used to be. I think it’s done now, so it should be a really nice venue. And parking is awful. And when the show's over there are really only two ways to get out of the parking lot... it takes forever. Also...even though it's been remodeled... the forum is kind of trashy. At least compared to staples center. Big names still do the forum tho... it's no shade on gaga. But I've skipped plenty a show because it was held at the forum.
