the theme of flowers

the dancer's outfits, her arm and the things on the ceiling (idk what they're called ) are all flowered themed but where did this aesthetic stem ( :derpga: ) from? i just thought they were rather random since they've never been referenced too during Joanne's era, at least now that i know of

i can see the link in Applause because of the flower leg thing she carries in the video, i guess it's just a new image born with the tour?

I think the flowers fit very well Come To Mama (but not really Applause or BTW...) and the black leotard idea comes straight from the Applause era aesthetic if you ask me

I don't know where it came from but it needs to go in the first outfit revision :bye:

Honestly the lack of aesthetic for this tour kinda bothers me. The interludes are dark and eerie af (and they SLAY) and here we have these flowers and the hippie theme :toofunny: Some consistency would be nice imo

The aesthetic came from Richard Quinn! He's a British designer.

Exactly my thoughts. It felt like the interludes were being used for the wrong tour, and the merch...it doesn't match.

I've got more questions about where/why/what the rhinoceros has to do with anything?  :oprah:

Flowers represent happiness specially daisies! The hippie times and daisies remember? So yeah the daisies and flowers do actually fit with BTW and applause because they refer to being happy

I was thinking that it has to do with her physical image and how people point out her nose. Just like they did with her weight at the Super Bowl. But that's what I think

Some people are saying it represents people making fun of her nose and making up rumors she got a nose job

Gaga has always been a maximalist, all-in, splashy, doesn't-always-fit-but-still-is-good kind of person. Consistency is boring.
