LORD GAGA 1,271
I just bought a Chinese edition of The Fame Monster. I really hope it's legit... What do you guys think? http://www.ebay.com/...07&cmd=ViewItem Definitely real, they state it ont he description and a seller with 100% rating like that cant risk selling fakes because of bad feedback, plus the pics show its real too :)
Paper Planes 340
Definitely real, they state it ont he description and a seller with 100% rating like that cant risk selling fakes because of bad feedback, plus the pics show its real too :) I actually found proof it was fake, and requested a refund before he even sent it. He is the same seller I bought my two fake The Remix CD's (which I didn't even know were fake until a year later...) He just made a new eBay account. He had a 99.8% positive rating on the other account when I bought from him, but yet no reports of fake merchandise. delete it fat

MrGermanotta 67
Hey Nick, this edition from China is real !
Paper Planes 340
Yeah. :( I've seen plenty of good-quality counterfeits... The only way I could tell that my UK edition of The Remix was fake was because the label on the disc looked like this instead of this. Everything else looked 100% legit. And many people are just casual people that don't track down counterfeits like us collectors, so automatically assume the CD's are real and give them positive feedback. Both of the counterfeits that I had bought from him before had excellent/flawless sound quality, too... delete it fat
LORD GAGA 1,271
Hey Nick, this edition from China is real ! Now im entirely confused.....
dfghuer5 163
Now im entirely confused..... That CD he is selling may be a fake, but it is probably just a conetrfeit version of the real version, what I mean is that there is a Chinese edition exactly like that, but the saller may have just made a conterfeit duplication of it, so I suggest not to buy it, and just try to get it from a different seller :)
dfghuer5 163
How much do you think it's worth? I don't want to ask too high of a price, because I don't really keep up with how much those things are worth, but I do like it and wouldn't want to just give it away either. I dont really know lol, but if u really like it then i think u should keep it :) Because I wouldnt have enough money anyway lol i only have like $
totalhate 40
Thank you! and yeah i think its a little high hahaha. That CD is kind-of rare if i remember right, but not extremely, i think its value is about £20 I want it   I have a copy of this but it comes without a cover, only in a CD-single case. I found it at a second hand store, dunno if it is a promo because it's weird it came without artwork. It has 6 remixes. I can make some pictures this evening so I can show you... Maybe I have something rare and I don't even know it! LOL Edited July 31, 2012 by totalhate

Paper Planes 340
The pics are two different releases: the UK and the Honk Kong one. Both are official ! The first picture is one like the counterfeit I recieved. It is a counterfeit of the Hong Kong version of The Remix, but it was listed as an official edition of The Remix UK edition. Look on the bottom of the disc on the first picture: the text and record label logos aren't clear and are blurry, and there's a silver ring in the middle of the label. The second picture is the official release of the UK edition. It has clearer text and logos, and doesn't have the silver ring. delete it fat

You can read the text on the disc it says made in honk kong. The clean cover is not just for the UK. The US, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and the Phillipines also have the clean cover. I wasn't judging it just by the cover. I know that the one from Hong Kong is real. But the other one is not. It's a counterfeit of the Hong Kong version, which was listed as the UK edition when I bought it.
