Trans people were at the front of movements for lgbt rights and the lgbt community; without them we wouldn't be where we are today. Military should always operate within limits and in this case, i do see how transgender may cause many complications in the logistics or medical side of things. Your second point however, came off slightly condescending but there is a level of truth to how the two -sexuality and gender equality can be inconveniently passed off as one agenda.
