I just hope there are enough good things happening in this world to outweigh all the inhumane, disgusting acts committed by 'humans'.

There aren't. There is a huge imbalance of evil. We live in a world filled with monsters.

I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

:( What a terrible generation.

This has nothing to do with their age. There are evil, degenerate subhumans in every generation.

I really hope karma gets them, 'final destination' style. Yes, I'm shamelessly saying I want them dead.

You know that first sentence? Yeah, people have been saying that EVERY SINGLE GENERATION.

Dont act like this generation has more dumb people than the ones before it :selena:

That's not really what I mean't. In previous years, say 10-20 years ago teenagers didn't record serious situations like this and take it as humorous...obviously because smart phones weren't really around but still, most teens then wouldn't have thought of something as dumb as recording it. Again, not saying teens haven't always been stupid, its more looking like the more into the future we get, the less they seem to think with their brains :ladyhaha:

We're in an era of 'get out your phone & record it' rather than help or call for help.

Because they get some kind of satisfaction from that. You can also see it here on GGD (not comparing it to those scumbags), or thew News, some people will do anything to get views/clicks. I may be going to far, but i think it's some kinda of addiction.

I agree. It's like it isn't reality if it's watched through a screen & everything is an opportunity for fame & popularity

Pop Music

This video actually makes me want to punch a wall. I hate this generation we all need to do our part to make this world better and with kids like this I have lost faith. I am disgraced to be a teenager.

Pop Music and Lady Gaga forever!

I dont know why people are getting more insensitive over time even the kids, :shrug:It's like being a hollow head is the new ting and a lot of people compite for the first place of being dumber and superficial.:(

I have a theory that the internet/social media has had such an impact on society that people actually value each other's lives less than they used to simply because of our over exposure to other humans and the deaths of other humans. I mean, you can glance past a headline that reads "sixty people killed in an attack" and think of it as part of the norm. On some days, you might not even give those sixty lives a second thought. You also talk to dozens of people daily online but how often do you sit and consider that they're not just screen names and profile pictures? They're human beings with thoughts, memories, and feelings of their own. How often do you see people online who interact the way they would in real life? :oprah:

Of course, sociopaths aren't exactly a new thing so that kind of throws a wrench in my little theory :rip:

do you have any actual researched facts to back this up? Or is this just your assumption that the next generation is a bunch of selfish brats?

Because there's a difference.

My theory is above :poot: You have to admit, the world has changed and is changing now more rapidly than ever. Our generation is like no other. But you're right in that generalizing an entire generation is kind of pointless.

OT: F*cking Florida. Of course :saladga:
