craig 680
http://www.officialc...-all-time-1778/ Adele now #4 all-time. I'm betting this is the last time she passes anyone. She doesn't have the momentum to catch Sgt. Pepper and Abba Gold.

Ellie Sioux 8
I'm quite surprised at how long Olly Murs has managed to maintain a Top 10 spot!

She is slaying everyone currently in the music industry with such a simple album. :smh:

StrawberryBlond 14,264
I think it's quite funny to see the amazing rise in chart positions that old, irrelevant and/or unsuccessful albums get as a result of the Boxing Day/January/iTunes sales. Examples: Flo Rida - Wild Ones (#116 - #92 - 24 places) Spice Girls - Greatest Hits (#117 - #90 - 27 places) Jessie J - Who You Are (#120 - #88 - 32 places) Plan B - The Defamation Of Strickland Banks (#179 - #87 - 92 places) Drake - Take Care (#125 - #85 - 40 places) Chris Brown - Fortune (#180 - #84 - 96 places) Green Day - ¡Uno! (#130 - #81 - 49 places) Train - California 37 (#113 - #80 - 33 places) Usher - Looking 4 Myself (#196 - #78 - 118 places) Skrillex - Bangarang (#175 - #67 - 108 places) Justin Bieber - Believe (#100 - #66 - 34 places) Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (#95 - #62 - 33 places) Plan B - Ill Manors (#105 - #61 - 44 places) Rihanna - Loud (#84 - #58 - 26 places) Katy Perry - Teenage Dream - #92 - #54 - 38 places) David Guetta - Nothing But The Beat - (#109 - #52 - 57 places) Pink - Greatest Hits...So Far! (#75 - #41 - 40 places) The xx - Coexist - (#71 - #38 - 33 places) Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto (#69 - #37 - 32 places) Frank Ocean - Channel Orange (#62 - #33 - 29 places) Vaccines - Come Of Age - (#81 - #32 - 49 places) Olly Murs - In Case You Didn't Know (#48 - #27 - 21 places) Labrinth - Electronic Earth - (#61 - #21 - 40 places) Rita Ora - Ora (#36 - #8 - 28 places) Biggest rises by the likes of Usher, Chris Brown, Skrillex, Plan B and David Guetta. Odd how it's mostly male albums that experienced the biggest rises. Considering that some of these albums aren't even that old is very telling. It sends the message that people don't think certain artists music is worth paying a lot of money for, so they're wait until the sales for a really cheap deal. The reason that Usher, Vaccines, Labrinth and Rita got such big rises is because for the last few days, an advert was playing saying that you could download any of those albums for £3:99 on iTunes and clearly, everyone realised that they weren't going to get a better deal. Though it wasn't the biggest rise, I think Rita's soar to #8 was by far the funniest. That girl's appalling as well. Pretty funny how this is the only time people will buy her music: when it's on the cheap. They were flogging it in HMV and Tesco for £5 a few weeks back. In other news, a surprising survivor of the sales is Adele's 21, going from #46 to #55 this week. If it can survive the sales, there is hope that it's finally on the way out. I'm hoping it's got her back in people's minds so that when she brings out her lead single next year it has more impact. If she comes back with a club banger I predict top 3 UK.
