but I see why people getting really dedicated to her. She's like depressed/somber/nostalgic sounding. It's really good, but only rubs well on a few people. I guess you gotta kinda go through love, the kind she seems to be a professor in. Like how people relate to LG's LGBT stuff, I relate to her stuff about love and nostalgia.

All I'll say is, just be careful when you fall in love; it doesn't always last...unfortunately the same can't be said for tattoos. Zing! :awesome:

I really love Lana. Her music is wonderful! It makes me feel like I'm sitting out on my front porch when it's 100 degrees outside and you are just being lazy and enjoying life. Her songs bring back powerful emotions. They are well written and wonderfully produced. It's honestly the best album of 2012 for me.

Sorry but I think his work sounds so dated

That's fine with me. I just thought I would share it with you guys. After all, they made some of Rihanna's biggest hits and since Rihanna is working with Red One, Gaga might just work with her go-to producers :fan: .

To give you an idea, StarGate produced the following songs for Rihanna:

- Only Girl (In the World)

-S&M

-What's My Name?

-Don't Stop the Music

-Take a Bow

-Unfaithful

-Hate that I Love You

-Rude Boy

-Te Amo

-Talk that Talk

-Roc Me Out

-Drunk on Love

-Stupid in Love

They also produced a few more hits as well:

-Beautiful Liar (Beyonce and Shakira)

-Irreplaceable

-Firework

-I'm Into You (It wasn't a hit but I felt like mentioning it).

I admit I've never really listen to the entire album. I'm basing my opinion on her live performances and they have left me disappointed.

The NA video was on point though. I wanna give her a chance, she seems worth it, but I just have this feeling she'll fade away and all I'll be left with is a couple of her CDs and a few videos. It might sound shallow, but I'm looking for longevity when deciding to stan for someone. :)

Lana is a great artist. She'll be here as long as she wants to. It's simply that she hasn't said how long she plans on staying :).

Her music (and some videos) didn't sound that great to me at first. I kind of fell in love with the album one song at a time. For instance, I would listen to a song like Lolita and think it was a complete disaster. But then after a month or so I came back to it and wondered why I didn't like it. It sounds groundbreaking. The entire album was like that for me.

Edit: I'd also like to add that she isn't disposable or anything. She writes all of her music and claims there are only a handful or words on the album she didn't compose solely by herself. She co-produces all of the songs and is directly involved in the process, often mastering and mixing them all by herself. On her video's, she edits them herself, too :).

Well she seems like the real deal. If she is indeed, like you said, she'll be around for as long as she wants. :)

I love the production in Only Girl In the World :flutter:

Living Things by Linkin Park is #1 on albums

Is it really gonna outsell Maroon 5?
