This practice happens a lot in my country and the worst part of it is that, as most of the big concerts are held in GA-only venues, you have no chance of getting in the first rows because people camp for months to get that spot and you just can't compete as you have actual things to do. 

 

Oh and just so I don't get too far away from the title of the thread, I feel really bad for the fans that were all pumped to see her, I hope there's a reasonable explanation.

For people who don't understand the camping and stuff, you sort of have to live the latin-american lifestyle to get it.

Being in the US and going to shows to me feels so weird because I'm used to people being hyper pumped and feeling like it's an experience out of this world. Here, people do get excited and do bond in community but it's not the same as with latin american crowds and it's because we aren't used to big acts coming to our countries. Gaga has never been to my country at all, for example.

I mean, the first arena show I went here was starting at 7:00 and I got there at 5:00 and I was worried because it was GA and I wouldn't get a good view and when I got there... there were like 40 people? lmao. I managed to get like in the 4th row in front of the stage, and the arena did get packed. I couldn't get it but it's because it's what I'm used to.

I would never camp out to see shows because I'm a grown up now and I work and blabla, but if I was a teenager and was on my summer vacay, like this kids are, I would absolutely give it a go. 

I don't know if this happens in other parts of the world but as of latinamerica, that's why.

As for the cancellation, something big must have happened to cancel the show on the same day. I feel sorry for the fans and hope Ariana's ok.

I have no idea if it's Ariana's fault or not. At one end I feel bad for the fans because some travelled, some made plans, some spent money just to see the show but at the same time I have no idea of the true reason Ariana cancelled the show so I can't judge her yet.
