Gaga Positivity Thread

The amount of negativity on here the past couple days has really been disheartening, and has dampened my mood immensely. I'm sure that the same can be said about many other members here as well.

So! I know its kind of lame, but I wanted to make a positivity thread where we can post things that we have enjoyed about Gaga over the past few years, or perhaps things that we look forward to in the future.

Maybe a favorite performance, a cool outfit, a loved song. Or maybe something that she has said or done. Maybe even a photoshoot.

I will go first.

- I love that she believed in Million Reasons so much that she performed it literally a million times. She really stood by that song. This performance of it is probably my favorite because her voice is so beautiful, and it really highlights how she has evolved as a vocalist and a performer. I hope that the Grammy's will recognize this song with a nomination.

- I also love that we are going to get a soundtrack for ASIB with possibly a different sound. I mean, how cool is that!? It's like adding a whole other dimension to her as an artist.

Additionally, I comment on all of your threads so don't let my very first one flop. :lolly:

I am glad she's pursuing her interests, and has a team that allows her to expand creatively rather than being a money-making and soul-sucking machine. She clearly is much happier now than in her past few eras.

Been a long time but I'm back in town, and this time I'm not leaving without you

my all time favorite performance! i never get tired of talking about this, it was during such a beautiful era and i felt so close to her! this reminded me of the first ever artrave in brooklyn just for us and the light work and sceneography (?) is so beautiful.

i always believed in this song so much and how ARTPOP had so many potential gems, i consider it a classic EDM album that was mistreated by everyone.

another thing i'll never get over: how political and taunting Born This Way was. the record was bold and shockingly political considering where she was at the moment. even after 6 years, i'm still surprised when "Americano" or "Heavy Metal Lover" play on my phone, i think they're next level genius.

HML is in my top 10 Gaga songs. I love it so much. Born This Way was so legitimate.

I really like how much she has improved as a vocalist. If you back and listen to some of her earlier songs she doesnt even sound like the same person sometimes.:classy:

and some present time positivity: i love how cinematic joanne is. diamond heart, john wayne, hey girl, just another day... they sound like soundtrack songs, the kind of songs that play on the background of indie films. i love the overall sound of joanne, how they kept it analog just for the shake of it and how it still sounds fresh and energetic to me after these months of overplaying it.

i think the lyrics on this album are the most mistreated cause few people rarely praise them and they're so worth it! i mean, diamond heart is about a stripper, about her relationship with taylor kinney, about american politics... it's just genius and the album era keeps on giving us so many good moments!
