Education and well paid income aren't enough simply either. Just take the example of Malaysia. The younger generation is even more homophobic than before.

Even poor Nepal is about to legalize same sex marriage (their Supreme court granted permission for same sex marriage back in 2008 but they haven't enacted it yet) despite having only 65% literacy rate. Their GDP per capita is only $800. 

 

It's more about your mentality rather than your standard of living. All the money in the world can't buy you kindness.

But are there tho? There are lots of Muslim dominant nations that have a higher GDP per capita than even LGBT friendly countries.
