I think an album where every song forms a story would be cool! Something like Electra Heart, or Imaginaerum by Nightwish

I didn't come to this thread thinking Nightwish was ever gonna be mentioned (why would I) and here I am, bald

Smother Em Eh

She should do full on experimental! I mean she is a super versatile Artist, and I think she should take advantage of it! I mean she would definitely pull it off!

I hoped ARTPOP was an experimental record back in 2012 when we started getting the tea

In 2012 ARTPOP was experimental in two ways.

1. She was (once again) ahead of the trend with the hard EDM that hit majorly in mainstream late that year and continued into 2013/2014. Aura, Swine, G.U.Y., and Mary Jane Holland are all extremely experimental when you consider the year they were made when empowerment songs like 'Wide Awake' and club-driven party songs like 'Whistle' and 'Starships' ruled the pop world before hard EDM drops and viral videos took over in 2013

2. When she first made these tracks in their initial form, they were as experimental as they ever were. In 2012, Aura was still Burqa, the taste of the album we had was Stache: a hard hitting, trance track, ARTPOP (the track) was blasting through her car speakers, and even the simpler tracks like Fashion! and Gypsy were a little more unique with experimentation in sound and vocals (the disco vibe in the daft punkish demo of Fashion! and the extra EDM elements in the demo of Gypsy).

ARTPOP was built as an experimental EDM album brought into mainstream radio but turned into a watered down (still awesome tho), sometimes overproduced (@Sexxx Dreams, MANiCURE, and Swine), and Interscope controlled fiasco
