Born To Slay 10,996
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017/07/awful-bernie-sanders-says-gop-healthcare-bill-worse-911-video/ At a “Care Not Cuts” rally in Morgantown, WV. on Sunday, Senator Bernie Sanders compared the GOP health care plan to one of the worst things to ever occur on American soil — 9/11. “Now obviously nobody can predict exactly how many people will die if they lose their coverage. Nobody can make that prediction,” Sanders said to rally goers. “But what experts at the Harvard School of Public Health estimate, is that if 23 million Americans were to be thrown off the insurance they currently have…up to 28,000 Americans every single year could die.” “That is nine times more than the tragic losses of we suffered on 9/11, every single year,” Sanders said. JusKeepBreathin 19,311
I get that he wanted a number with an impact and I applaud him for having the balls to do something like that, but the comparison kinda turned my stomach just a bit. FATCAT 60,888
It's not the best choice of analogy, but wow does it strike to the core of the issues at hand. We need to be sure that we don't let the AHCA pass, and while it might ruffle some feathers, it's better than letting people die. It makes no sense to tie those two tragedies together just because there were deaths in both. If a tradgedy that is widely accepted as such can be compared to anotherto gain support and public knowledge, to help prevent further deaths, it does make sense to compare the two. I don't know about the specifics of a comparison like the Holocaust and the AIDS crisis in Africa, however. This kitten over here (meow)
ItsTommyBitch 12,640
He's not wrong in terms of 9/11's impact on Americans. (Its effect on the middle east is another story) "True Patriots" will get onto him for his "deeply offensive" comments, because "real, American innocent men and women died here"but personally, I think patriotism tends to blind us from the truth tho, so whatever. These people probably voted Trump anyway seeing as how they let him get over attacking a dead soldier's mother and belittling the purple heart like it was nothing. 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

Why? Most ppl who died in 9/11 died relatively quickly! Ppl dying from health issues could suffer for months or years! And this involves many more ppl Just because these individuals wont have an eyeing impact on the news of something major that happened in one day doesnt mean it isnt more deadly!!!!
