Irrelevant 20,282
Joanne is pretty much a representation of a new start of Gaga, a reflection for Gaga, a restart of Gaga after the ARTPOP backlash. I'm not saying she released Joanne because of the ARTPOP backlash, but it was clear she wanted to kinda refresh her career and start strong again. You can tell she's kinda going back to 'Gaga' with the SB and Coachella, and imo JWT would be pretty 'Gaga' too. 광야로 걸어가 알아 네 home ground

It lowkey feels a bit awkward shoved into an album about her dead aunt It is a bit extra in comparison to the other tracks but the album isn't just about Joanne, she touches on BLM, her own love life, passion for dangerous men, Sonja, etc. It's both fun and personal. Depending on how you look at it DIC might just be perfect for the album as yet another track that showcases something very personal and intimate about her. Cuchulainn 3,040
I feel like she's still here. Just not as visible because she doesn't do as extensive promo tours with exciting tv performances anymore. I'm sure she will deliver 'Gaga' on the world tour. JupiterDrive 2,788
Tbh "Gaga" doesn't fit her anymore I cringe when she tries to pull a "Gaga" during Joanne era while performing her old material because she tries to mix them up with the current state she's in and that doesn't end up good because Joanne doesn't have a Gaga taste to it

gagasgirl 395
I think she has evolved over time. We're still seeing Gaga, just maybe different 'versions' or sides or parts of Gaga. I think a lot of people (both LM and non-fans) are stuck in her early work/the beginning of her career. The outfits, the images, the pizzaz. A lot of people are holding on to what she was in the beginning and their fear of losing that Gaga they know scares them...? 2/21/11 & 2/22/11 MSG

It’s called Joanne cause that’s her middle name. It’s like beyonce with her beyonce album or Britney with their personal albums
