I don't know if I should post here about my Pokemon escapades or the Pokemon thread  I got a Popplio toy with my order, it was random between the 3 starters :laughga: Chose Litten as my starter last time but gonna choose Popplio this time now :woohoo:

Added you :yay: Please add me back 2466-1437-3789 :gaysia:

Gonna do it once I'm back home :lolly:Also should I go for Ultra Sun or Moon? I've barely played since I last played Alpha Sapphire in mid 2015, so definitely down for picking Ultra Sun/Moon and getting back in.

Sorry I just saw this  Loved reading it though, how in depth and descriptive :flutter: I think I will have to try them one day but it's Sonic's speed that actually turns me off because I can't imagine going exploring for collectibles when he's whizzing ahead at 100mph :deadbanana: That being said, it's best to put doubts aside and actually give things a go. I remember my cousin downloading a demo of one of the Sonic games on the PS3 or Wii U or something and it actually looked pretty cool :woohoo:

What do you mean by sticky controls by the way?

LOL no worries. I actually figured you read it and were satisfied enough not to respond...or it was so damn long you just skipped over it :laughga:

As for sticky controls, I don't know if this is the best way to explain it, but, in Odyssey and Forces, there was a certain unresponsiveness at times. Like if I was moving forward and let go of the control stick, the character would continue to move for a little bit, and their velocity wouldn't decrease at all before coming to a complete and instant halt. Maybe it has something to do with the wireless controllers, which is why I'm not quite ready to blame the games but the Switch itself. But then, at other times, it happens so consistently during specific circumstances (like every time I was playing as the Avatar character in Forces) that I'm wondering if the controls really were designed that way.

Also pin my 3DS thingy to the OP I need people to help me get back into the 3DS :selena:

Sorry just did it now :laughga: After adding people from the OP you'll probably need to tag them and ask you to add you back though :omg:

I'd say go for Ultra Sun because I have Ultra Moon :poot: Or just go for whichever legendary you prefer. My choice between Sun/Moon and Ultra Sun/Moon literally just came down to whether I like the day better or night :rip: Creative, I know :derpga:

YES OMG I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN BY STICKY CONTROLS NOW :sharon: I've definitely felt it in Odyssey sometimes and it's made me die sometimes, it makes me change how I'm holding the controller and then it fixes itself for a while. Like when I'm sat down on the sofa with my arms crossed playing super casually it'll randomly happen, then I'll straighten my arms out towards the Switch and it'll be fine again, it's super weird :duck: Never happened with my Pro controller though, only ever with the Joy Cons

Mario Kart is a bop imo

Splatoon 2 is really fun

Arms is also pretty fun if you're into that

Getting them all slowly. I'm still an undergrad without the permission of getting part time jobs.

Mine arrived today :woot: Gonna start it up now, but it reminds me that I need to go beat the Elite 4 and actually go complete Moon :flop: YAAAY getting the red carpet ready for you :excited2:

I just have 3 games right now and you've listed 2 of them, the other one is Splatoon 2 which I can't praise enough :laughga: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is great, I don't own it but I have Mario Kart 8 and that was awesome so Deluxe must be :awesome: I'm looking into getting Rayman Legends soon, that's supposedly a super great platformer

I hope you won't stop at the E4 until Gen 8 with Ultra Moon then :selena:

I've heard great things about Splatoon 2. I still have to look up Rayman Legends cause literally who :poot:

Start with Splatoon (most here play it) then do Kart. Arms is fun, but I wouldn't place it too high on my list.

There's something that'll help you with shrines soon :green:

Spoiler

The shrine locator buzz thing on the Sheikah Slate really helped me find loads, but then whenever you're on a tower just look out into the distance and you'll probably see a few. Also whenever you climb onto a big mountain or anything look out and you'll probably see a glowing light too. For me it was easiest actually finding them when it was rainy and dark because you can basically see nothing but the orange glow is still visible :awesome:

With clothes it took me a while too, over time you'll find yourself finding and collecting more. If you're just near the start then there won't be anything much at the moment, but as you go to more towns and villages it'll build :woohoo: Soon enough you'll be a fashionista :gaycat:
