After getting Malibu from Miley and Praying from Kesha, it's clear that they have chosen Gaga's path - creating music that is pure emotion, no autotune, very stripped back and simple and I live for it! Even Ariana said she might go country in the future...and they said Joanne won't have an impact, ha! Anyone else feeling it? 22 hours ago, Sycamore said: Of course they are, but they won't credit Gaga and pretend they had this idea themselves while they get the praise and Gaga will remain unknown again. Are y'all really dumb? Joanne is a bad album so I don't see how anyone would be inspired by that piece of 💩 Kesha and Miley have had country/folk roots since forever. Miley had songs like that before. So I don't see why Gaga was the one to inspire them. You could even say it's the other way around. You all need to seek help because these delusions are getting to you hard.

Miley clearly was influenced by Gaga when she got into her Bangerz era. And then she stripped down completely like Gaga. It doesn't matter if she was releasing Country music before, it's about the image she is projecting to the public.

Honey, your nick speaks for itself.... Joanne wasn't a bad album at all. Miley was and is obviously inspired by Gaga. You could see that with Bangerz and her new music now. She also did what Gaga wanted to do long ago - an album that was for free. Also if you'd really read my posts you'd see it's more about coming up with personal, not autotuned, emotional raw type of music and image than country influences. Snejana 1,019
Gaga is always ahead of the curve: through 2008-2010 she made dance music and avant gardé fashion popular again, born this way brought back 80's influenced sound, even ARTPOP's EDM that everyone bashed is pretty mainstream right now But as usual the good sis is dragged to hell and back by the GP/critics and never gets the credit she deserves
