Let’s just not bring this up? The girl almost lost her life, had a controlling relationship with her producer who cut all connections to her family for a while, had an eating disorder. Got roofied & raped. When she went to court to accuse this man the judge denied it a couple times. She lost control over her music, wasn’t allowed to release anything for 5 years. Give this girl some love ff$

you, and a majority of these forums, would all prefer Lana/Marina to Kesha. Which is why I'd go out on a limb to say they're far more overrated than Kesha is here

but it's just a matter of taste  I am not a fan of them because of a forum, I've been listening to them since their first albums came out, it's just that I prefer their material to Kesha's, and I assume that's the case with most people, it's just a matter of taste

it is a matter of taste, absolutely, and I'm not pointing fingers for the sake of pointing them. But on every "name your 3 favorite artists" thread, you will see 90% Lana, 60% Marina, and like. Maybe one or two people list Kesha, so saying she's overrated is literally insane. To be frank, she's not overrated in any circle, anywhere - most people consider her a has-been.

Taste is fine and all, I prefer Kesha to the other two myself, but a statement as matter-of-fact like "She's so overrated here" is ludicrous and going to garner a response from me

Kesha is a talented songwriter who doesn't have to rely on 1950 tropes to make decent music. She is far from overrated here, to be quite frank.

I'd say Kesha is really underrated. She might not be the best singer, not I like all her songs, but she's great at song writing and has to be one of nicest people on the planet.
