n0ne 13,105
I don't know what my least favorite concert was, but Lady Starlight takes the crown for worst opener. No one was living for her 45-60 minutes of the same beat pattern with slight alterations only every 20 mins. "My people… need to let our bitchiness out. Otherwise, it turns to bile and poisons us"

He About To Lose Me was performed live most nights! She cut He About To Lose Me for my date. And she fooled all of you, it was pre-recorded vocals to pretend she was singing live. If you compare the videos they all sound the exact same.

No, I know that she had pre recorded live vocals but there's some dates where she clearly was singing over a track for some songs. I'm on mobile but could find some links later. I forgot she cut HATLM early...such a shame. I never got to see the show live anyways.

Batwings 12,885
My answers don't have anything to do with the performers (for the most part), really, but... 1) B.B. King -- Yes, I know he's a freakin' legend, and the fact that I got to see him is amazing. That being said, we were seeing him in a casino, and it wasn't even an auditorium. It was basically like a big banquet hall with chairs and a stage, and people were allowed to smoke. I was having really bad sinus/allergy problems at the time, and the cigarette smoke gave me a splitting headache so severe that my eyes were watering and my vision was blurred. Also, at times, the audience was so loud and obnoxious, we couldn't hear much. Because of that, the whole concert is just a big blur in my memory. 2) Lana Del Rey -- Lana herself was great. She had great stage presence and interacted with the audience a lot. BUT she only played for an hour. I remember when she said, "OK, here's my last song for the night," people were looking around at each other like, "Wha...???" Also, this was in New Orleans, outdoors, in the late spring, so it was sweltering hot, and the crowds didn't help with that. To top it all off, the audience members were pushy and obnoxious (GA standing room only), and tons of drunk girls in flower crowns kept passing out right and left. The only other audience I've ever encountered that was more obnoxious was when I went to see Gaga and Tony at Chastain Park in Atlanta. The park is basically what I call a "rich people" venue. Lots of money folks who live in the area buy season tickets every year, regardless of who's playing, and most of the people who came to the show didn't even care about it. They were just there to socialize. The people behind us were talking so loudly about their shopping trip that day and what they were going to do for dinner that it was hard for us to even hear the show at some points. Spoiled, privileged, rich people are the WORST at an outdoor venue like that.
juju 18,907
Melanie Martinez. Mel was great, sounded great, but her fanbase was literally the most unpleasant bunch of people I'd ever been around at a show. I guess being used to the community of Little Monsters had my expectations abnormally high, but they just weren't friendly or sociable. A bunch of bratty kids, mostly, but looking back I should've expected that (plus my best friend and I got into a drunk throw-down so that adds distaste to the experience ) ❤ x ❤
The Fame 4,192
My friend dragged me to a concert for a band/duo called 'Matt and Kim'. They were...not my thing. The music isn't the type I listen to, and it was pretty boring visually.

I mean it was nice and all but I just didn't know any of the songs except the big hit singles so the rest of the show I was like " " and the seats we had were like at the top level and on the side so it wasn't the best viewing experience either The highlight for that concert for me was when Rihanna came on stage and sang Cinderella and Live Your Life Baring in mind, this was when they were dating and was weeks (or a short month or two before the Grammy night incident Chris Brown was good too though, from what I can remember he sang and danced well and had great energy on stage I am very appreciative and grateful that they took me though, because if it wasn't for that concert then I wouldn't have been interested in beginning to attend concerts. After that concert I was like "wow that was good! I NEED to see musicians that I know the music of" and so a few months down the line I asked for a ticket to go see Lady Gaga's The Monster Ball Tour as an early birthday present and the rest is history, I've happily attended many concerts of artists that I love since Omfg i never knew that was on grammy night! chaeri pls
littlepotter 75,147
I've never been to a proper concert. I've watched a sia concert from afar because it was an open venue tho so she's worst and best I did have a good time but mostly because it was my first time ever seeing an actual star, i was having a blast with my friends singing along, and i had just quit my job which made me feel elated chaeri pls
HausOfHarlow 380
Nicki Minaj on her Roman Reloaded tour or whatever it was called. Saw the show in Atlanta. She had come from D.C. the night before and remember her tweeting how hungover she was. Turns out, she cut her setlist significantly and instead invited a ton of best rappers on stage to sing their featured verse and/or 2-3 of their own songs. It was distorter and I never want to see her live again.
Gagz 2,579
I think my least favorite was Kacey Musgraves. I like her music and she was entertaining, but her set was SO LONG and the type of music she makes doesn't lend itself to a super long show... Dominic 11,922
Tove Lo. She wasn't bad but she didn't do a whole lot either. Barely any interraction other than flashing her ****. That and I started drinking in the morning and had to throw up in my beer during the show because i didnt wanna lose my spot The hardest thing in this world is to live in it
