BgRaEgTaT 1,543
Sometimes...I become kind of self-conscious of it when I’m playing Joanne like in the car around other people who aren’t big fans and I feel like they’re annoyed by the fact that she ends up screaming in almost every song..but when I listen to it alone I live for it
Glitterngrease 482
I love the raw vocals and her screaming gives me life. The only thing that bothers me is that she sounds nasal in places. Now she's perfectly capable of not sounding nasal, so I just don't get it.
Gagaloo911 12,959
I think that she's never sounded better and I am in love with her voice. Especially on songs like Diamond Heart and Million Reasons where her voice is so expressive and fragile. I think her vocals, raw, are much better than her more processed ones on her previous albums. Her voice is magnificently versatile and the rawness allows her to express emotion in it, which she has a certain knack for being able to do.
LordEnigma 11,313
I like the rawness. i wish how she performed MR was how the studio version was but it's nice to see the track evolve live as well.
15jocart 2,305
She sounds much more natural in Joanne than any of her previous efforts, even C2C. Much less nasally, her diction is heavily improved, and she sounds wonderful overall. Been a long time but I'm back in town, and this time I'm not leaving without you
