if Pollstar updates with Gaga's boxscore soon we may not notice because there isn't enough space fdvlblgdlgf or we need to hope that they add Toronto as well

otherwise we will need to wait that brazilian notice

OK, here's the problem I have with the boxscores reported by Billboard.

Somehow, it is different than reported by the true industry publications - Pollstar and Venues Today.

Billboard is not in the business of selling tickets and promoting the concerts (this to a degree). I understand they report whatever number is reported to them, but why is it always smaller than reported by the Pollstar and Venues?

Does anyone remember Gaga's gross from Las Vegas reported by Pollstar?

Here's the number reported by the venue itself (T-Mobile Arena):

Lady GaGa
Gross Sales: $2,410,086; Venue: T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas; Attendance: 15,893; Ticket Range: $350-$55.14; Promoter: Live Nation; Dates: Aug. 11; No. of Shows: 1

Here's the number reported by Billboard:

August 11, 2017    Las Vegas    T-Mobile Arena    15,893 / 15,893    $2,139,858 (?)

Could it be something related to currency? Because they always post on different days and currency changes like every day.

Well, truth is, at the end of the day, we're all to go by the numbers that we want and preffer. Pollstar is, in fact, a publication as, if not, more reputable than Billboard when it comes to boxscores data.

Most people tend to go by Billboard numbers because their numbers are simply more accesible. We have to take into account that we're sort of 'privileged' that we follow an artist that reports every single tour date to such publications. Remember that boxscore data isn't available for most artists they way it is for Gaga, especially Pollstar data.

Compared to Pollstar, Billboard has a very big top Boxscores chart that updates every week, thus more likely to include data from smaller artists as well.

In the end, if we're lucky enough to get Pollstar data for all her shows by the end of this tour, there's no reason to why we should count out the numbers provided by Pollstar.

Remember that a lot of artist's final tour grosses are based on data reported mid or late year by Pollstar because they do release these charts every year and also because Billboard might not provide single show data for these artists.
