It's doing very good on streaming platforms and good on iTunes.

1,000,000 units is on the horizon as well. I need Gaga to have her 15th official Platinum single.

It probably is but since RIAA units are so up in the air with YT that it's best we let there be some time of margin of error.

We can only really calculate the on-demand streams (fairly) accurately.

Once The Cure crosses 1M sold in the US without YT even factored in I think we'll be good.

Buzz Angle used the term "project" for units Gaga has sold in 2017. She had 666,100 as of June 30th 2017

She had 253k albums as of that date. Asumming she's sold around 4,000 pure copies every week since then she's sold 285,000 albums.

She had 1,812,000 song sales. The Cure was still selling some good amount in July. Also this past week alone she sold 12,000 singles with Joanne and The Fame only. It's safe to say Gaga has sold around 170,000 singles since June 30th. That's 1,982,000 singles.

Her streams were at 347M. Joanne and The Fame did 7m in the past week alone. 80M streams have been gained at least since then. That's 427M streams.

Gaga has sold 767,000 album units since the start of the year in the United States. Averaging around 13,000 units a week. Not bad. Could use a boost though.

Yes but there's 3 things to consider

1. This doesn't include several weeks of units since Joanne dropped out sometime during the summer before the tour. Those weeks can't be more than 15k though

2. That doesn't include anything before October 21. The RIAA will include the sales and streams Perfect Illusion garnered from Sept 9 2016 - October 20 2016

3. It doesn't include YouTube at all. So it's missing YouTube data from Sept 9 2016 - present

The RIAA which will eventually give Gaga her platinum plaque includes all the above.

Is it realistic to expect Joanne hitting the platinum status by the end of the year? 

Hopefully the boost from the documentary will be nice, I want it to be platinum before the Grammy's!
