MR had to go through discounts and the SB to get to #4 on the charts after a few months of finding it's way. There's a huge difference between the two. I'm not shading MR, but Gaga's team definitely pushed for it while Beyonce put out an album that sold over 650k in the first week. Beyonce is just hot these days. People are flocking to buy/stream her music and it was quite evident in her stadium tour in the States.

First of all nearly every song on iTunes is on discount in order to stay at the top.

Common' it's like with Jay-Z. The only thing promoting his album is the fact that people again talk about that issue and see it as a ''response'' to that cheating thing.

They obviously are taking advantage of that great idea... Taysnake uses it everytime she writes a song.

It's not Beyonce's fault that people thought Jay cheated on her. She literally just debuted a film on HBO and released an album on Tidal and it became popular. People just run to her. No discount.

There was a push to get MR to where it ended up. Otherwise it would've went top 5 and platinum before the SB. 

Again, Beyonce is just hot. She doesn't have to work as hard to get people to listen to her music.

You write this like it's no big deal to have an HBO movie for an album release

I'm not saying that there wasn't a push for MR. But don't deny the fact that Bey pushed it too. There certainly is heavy promo. And you all act like people were forced to buy and stream MR in order to make it #4.

ok NOW you're completely delusional cause you are forgetting about her album ''4''. If you want to talk about the real deal then mention Adele cause she's the one selling like crazy in this industry.

And don't act like B is innocent. She is long enough in this business to know how people react if she's singing about a man cheating on HER. Or was she singing from the perspective of her fictional character Sasha Fierce?
