Gaga probably would like to do more promo but there's only so much stress you can handle until your body shuts down on you. The media blackouts are Gaga probably going into hiding for some weeks in order to recharge her batteries, otherwise she would probably be a nervous and hyperemotional wreck.

Although she could've rolled around in her bed in her mansion, recorded it, and released it as the TC video. MR and TEOG got some last minute videos, this year would've been easy, especially since the song is kinda straight forward and sensual (no story needed).

And let's face it, MR was a forced hit. It wouldn't have smashed without Super Bowl. TC atleast had radio support and streaming support. All she HAD to do was make a cute basic video (like she's done before). Promo wasn't necessary (just a nice bonus).

I really think her label forced her to release this song (it kinda sounds like DWUW) since nothing from Joanne was a definite hit.

we used to be so on top of insiders information. Some random Twitter would post a blurry pic and they're be a 100 page long thread on it. Now we have multiple people saying "hey Gaga is coming like in a few days" and it's not a big deal

She did more dates only a year after her surgery. This is not the reason for sure

Chronic pain increases with time tho and nobody is getting younger as well.
