Just one female artist on the top 20 videos of YT this past week and she is at #19. The US music industry is pathetic and shows an underlying misogyny that is beyond words. Meanwhile in Hollywood the usually male dominated area of comic book movies is being put to shame by the female lead Wonder Woman. So it's obvious that it's not the American Public's fault. I think women in the music industry need to start their own labels immediately. When Madonna started her own label she found Alanis and Michelle Branch and it lead to more money spent on female artists in general. Here we are almost 20 years later and the power of women in music has deteriorated at an alarming rate. Women need to start helping women again in the music industry. This is crazy.

I know I only mentioned YT because I just took a look at it before I started violently typing this message, but the mysogny is also a parent when you take a look at iTunes, The radio charts, and all the streaming services. It's not just one area of the music  industry. It's the entire music industry.
