I was reading the Music section on ATRL and it's so funny seeing stans arguments. Literally we're all the same. "Maybe next week will rebound" "I can't believe they dropped it already" "Why is radio acting like this?" "Her label is a mess" "Let's wait for the video" "Tomorrow will be better" LOL. Justin is like the only act that doesn't struggle.

Poor fans. The music industry is a sh*t show right now.

Music Industry is really strange nowadays. I bet even Gaga will have it hard if she does everything right with the next single promo-wise. Especially Radio is acting so bi-polar towards her.

The fact of the matter is Gaga is actually doing well all things considered in today's musical landscape. A solo female country pop ballad hitting #4 on the Hot 100 is a big, big achievement, and even TC isn't doing all that bad. Females are just not going to get solo smashes anymore and we have to accept that, and just be happy that she's still getting airplay, still managing to chart on Spotify and still selling her songs and albums. I think we're taking a lot of things for granted just because they're lower or not as good as we're used to, but in reality she's actually doing very well still.

I really hope the tour will help the album to sell even more in the US but it's unlikely.. it's most likely in Oceania and Asia that there is an impact.

The male domination has got to go. It's like radio won't even give female pop stars a chance anymore because males are dominating Spotify and they're going based off that (which is unfair considering the majority of Spotify listeners are male). So annoying, 2011 feels like a dream compared to now

Maybe it's also the song that was unexpected or people don't like it. 

She was in a position where she had all the cards to slay hard with her comeback ala Born This Way, Hello, Roar, Shape of You etc. but she ended up similar to Perfect Illusion. From a commercial point of view, Malibu hasn't been a right move, even though i like the song really much.
