That season SERVEDT and I really loved Lee as a character. My three favorite seasons all take place in the South too, like how iconic You like that southern charm? ⚯͛

He reminded me of Ben Stiller in Zoolander. Everyone else saved the season for me. I literally wanted to fast forward through his scenes. Roanoke had me. I was jumping, and I loved how they switched it halfway. But again, the ending sucked. you agree?? with me?? The ending of Roanoke took a moment for me to digest. But looking back I don't think there was really any other way of ending it bc *spoilers* Spoiler the theme of mother + daughter was very strong. And I like how the evil wasn't defeated in any way, like, them bitches are still out there! The blood moon still coming! The disembowelment scene had me so shook for days. As did when Lee was being tortured. The end of the season was so wild. ❤ x ❤

I should rewatch the season and just omit the last episode. ⚯͛

I'm from the North (Massachusetts) so I love witches/magic storylines (I don't live to far from Salem). There are also tons of abandoned old asylums around here that we used to break into. But the whole Freakshow thing just didn't grab me. ⚯͛

The lore and such with freakshows and even covens down south is so ingrained in our culture, it's wild. Like, every time I visit New Orleans, it's like stepping into a portal where the line between magic and the mundane blurs a bit. Hotel's LA setting felt foreign to me, as did much of Murder House and Asylum. It's not like I've been trapped in the South my whole life, I have done my fair share of traveling, but the seasons set here feel more at home to me, more comforting and fascinating. ❤ x ❤

Yeah, asylum to me was so fascinating because we have so many abandoned ones in and around Boston. We have some of the most haunted hospitals and places in the world. In my town there is an old children's sanitarium that is considered one of the most haunted places in the US actually. ⚯͛
