Thomas P 18,479
I really want it to be one of the most successful albums this year and I realllllllllyyyyy want it to snatch the Grammy (sorry gaga but lorde deserves it more). It's been widely acclaimed by critics, and its resting at the top of iTunes and Apple Music (don't know about Spotify) so it looks like it might be at least a top three debut. Do you think it will develop success and become one of the more successful albums this year? Discuss I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill. joannester 1,270
It better debut #1, there is no other big releases this week I think I'll mop you all across the floor, snatch your fυckιng weave out Βitch
Gagz4Gaga 7,278
Successful enough to win Album of the Year at 2018 Grammy Awards at Staple Center Live on CBS. nostalgia’s for geeks
Fiona Apple 13,006
Honestly I think it will sell well. Her first album had very big sales, and people will buy this album as well because it's really good&acclaimed
venusfly 17,885
I think it will be very successful over the long term instead of front loaded huge first week sales. I'd be surprised if it didnt sell at least a couple million WW.
DelusionalGaga 29,580
She will be acclaimed by the critics, but I don't think the album will be very successful. It seems that people aren't as interested in her as four years ago. Also Melodrama doesn't really have a song that you would call a hit
Zed 1,922
It'll probably do decent, but considering the underrated bop: Green Light didn't do too well, there's a risk that not many people are paying attention to her. But hopefully it will sell good and debut at #
OmgSum1Actually 3,041
I think that album will do really well for 2017 standards, but I don't think there will be big singles, but the album deserves all the acclaim Shameless selfpromo
Thomas P 18,479
Does anyone else see it doing Lemonade level good (minus every song debuting and the top 10. Pretty much the entire first week situation fro Lemonade) like in the long run? Stay high in the charts for an album, but singles in the lower end, and then rack in awards come time for that? darkchylde 14,857
i'm not sure if it'll get much attention from the gp but the critics seem to be liking it so hopefully she'll snatch a 80 in metacritic

Green Light and Perfect Places are major bops, and then Homemade Dynamite, The Louvre, Sober, and Hard Feelings/Loveless are more low key bops. The rest are beautifully executed ballad type songs. I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill. Mister Gaga 22,923
Word of mouth will help. Everyone is talking about how brilliant it is.
darkchylde 14,857
Just now, Ruth Hogben said: I haven't heard it yet tbh but I'm intrigued by the number of threads here, which songs are bops? Sober (I and II), Supercut, Perfect Places & Green Light are the biggest drops. Writer in the dark, Homemade Dynamite and The Louvre are not as danceable but just as good. Hard Feelings/Loveless and Liability are the saddest songs but also probably between the best lyrics
