StJames 376
So it's been reported that Manchester Arena is staying closed until September http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/7832931/manchester-arena-closed-opening-date?utm_source=twitter&utm_source=t.co&utm_medium=referral thankful that Manchester monsters still get the chance to see gaga in October. I feel bad for all the other tours and shows that won't be able to perform there or can't transfer over to old Trafford! For anyone that might be worried about any of the UK dates in regards to terrorism they are now doing body and bag searches on everyone going into these venues, they have also placed a ban on any bags larger than the size of a standard briefcase and armed police and special forces are posted at every exit to the building! Laceface 2,964
That's a real shame, I thought it'd be opened again much sooner. Perhaps they are installing new safety measures too but then again, the incident took place in the lobby/entrance so it's difficult to safe guard. Hopefully the presence of armed forces will help ease the worry of fans. It's kind of unfortunate though because it's what the terrorists want, to install fear and disruption. tomdsgn 1,916
Takes the piss. They've had a month to get it ready for the next show on Saturday, and instead they've cancelled their Nashville show and split it into 2 shows at the Manchester Apollo. Not only that, Manchester Arena = 21,000 seats, 2 shows @ o2 Apollo = 7000 seats??? So a load of people won't get to go. I still haven't got my refund for the first set of tickets, so £300 I've spent on them as of now. I understand it's raw and people might think I'm being unreasonable, but I was AT the Ariana show and I was IN the city room a few minutes before the bomb went off, and I had no fear and no reservations about going back to see Nashville there. They've done incredibly well to sell so many tickets now it's been ruined for so many people.

With the stage, FOH, and everything I wouldn't be surprised if more like 14,000 tickets were sold. Who knows if it was soldout.

I've seen a lot of people complaining on social media that they couldn't get tickets for the rescheduled show.
