Versace replaces Katrina as the official 2nd season of American Crime Story

FX’s American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace, which was originally slated to be the third installment of the series, will now premiere in early 2018. This means that it will bump Katrina, which had been previously announced as the follow-up to last year’s phenomenon The People v. O.J. Simpson.

Katrina will now begin shooting in early 2018 and it will serve as the third installment of the series.

Tbh they missed a big one not having Gaga as Donatella but whatever, Gaga's probably too busy anyways. I think it's already confirmed she won't be on the next season of AHS, too

I think her schedule is probably the only reason she's not playing Donatella, it would have been so good

The scene would require the actress to be extremely emotional... I love Gaga, but I don't know if she could pull it off. Penelope Cruz is a phenomenal actress, so I am sure this season will be amazing (though I doubt it will be as commercially successful as OJ, since Versace's story isn't as widely known).

I think she could've pulled it off!! The scenes in AHS where bullets were being pulled out of her flesh personally made me feel so sympathetic because Gaga truly looked in pain

The Countess emotional/sad scenes were her best acted scenes imo

That's right I forgot about those scenes. Hmmmm. I wonder if she could actually. She'd definitely be able to get the look down perfectly. The voice though... Can anyone really do it justice?

yeah I honestly didn't understand the previous filming schedule too

I think they will focus on racism and how black people were (intentionally) the last people to be rescued
