There's a scene in film that features Jay Z’s grandmother Hattie as she addresses partygoers at her 90th birthday. She recites the quote "I was served lemons, but I made lemonade," thus bringing the album title's meaning to life. Beyoncé seems to use it as a metaphor for how complicated relationships can be when in fact they seem relatively sweet on the outside. “Grandmother, the alchemist, you spun gold out of this hard life, conjured beauty from the things left behind, found healing where it did not live, discovered the antidote in your own kitchen,” she says in the “Lemonade" film. babyboo 965
I actually think MDNA is a cool title (lol @ cher though). And Glory is so bizarre but somehow fits the vibe of the album. I would say PRISM And also lemonade. It's like she picked the most random quote on the album and its not even a good one And if we're talking abt past albums: Oops I Did It Again, Charmbracelet (wtf), The Fame Monster (its cool now bc i got used to it and her persona fits but when i first heard it just seemed so tryhard)
