For some reason I feel like the wasn't going to be released initially because of how confessional it is, and Gaga has said that she usually reveals her feelings to people when she's drunk (i.e. Sex Dreams) which could explain how she slurs her words in certain parts of the demo but at the same time she did craft this song to perform live with its grandiose instrumental.
