Islamic terrorist have killed 802 people in less than 13 days. BUT ISLAMIPHOBIA IS THE REAL KILLER? Like how can you be so blatantly hypocritical. Not to mention "Islamiphobia" wouldn't even exist if they didn't terrorize people in the first place. The root problem is Islam, the symptoms would be in Islamophobia, not the other way around.

Spare me with your biased memes.

We all know terrorists  kill in this time of the year, because they are EXTREMISTS, from THE WAR TORN areas. They are not normal ordinary Muslims who fast and pray and give to charity, which is what this month is about, and everyone who has basic knowledge would know it. But people like you want to spread fear, even when the majority of the terror victims are Muslims. Even when the first in line who fight against ISIS are Muslims. You like to ignore that little fact.

You also never include all the civilians killed by Trump administration, "go after their families", which creates more refugees and more terror. Now you'll answer with Obama or Bush or something like that, so spare me with your "alternative facts".

Your last comment is typical victim blaming and it's disgusting but very expected of a Trump supporter.

Typical gay community.  Another reason why I won't ever go to pride.  Last time I checked you can support any candidate you want in this country.  While I cannot stand our cock waffle clown of a president I think it's stupid that pride parade is banning gays for Trump.  I thought pride was all about diversity?  I guess unless they don't agree with your political beliefs.

Thank you honey. You cannot claim to champion diversity if you cannot handle the most critical form of diversity, diversity of thought.

i am from México, and how exactly the pride parade celebrate that they live in a country with gay rights to begin with?

Sorry for assuming you're American, I hate when folk do that to me.

Pride is about accepting who you are when society tells you not to. America still has troubles with homophobia even if they do have some gay rights.

The thing is though, gay rights don't just pop up out of nowhere. Changes in policies and the way people think about the LGBT community is down to people actually being proud of their sexuality in spite of how society views them and treats them, and by fighting for change and better treatment.

Your mad he hired FORMER Goldman Sachs employees? You do realize that CITIGROUP hand picked Barack Obama's whole entire cabinet with a 98% accuracy rate a year and a half before he was even elected. You probably don't care about that though.

Yes but you were the one that said the reason you voted for him was to have someone different from the President's before him. Now you have made a case how he is behaving like them. :oprah:

So which is it. Is he similar to previous Presidents or not?

You are simply putting words in my mouth because you are under assumption that I hate Muslims or "brown people" or something. I grew up right next to Dearborn Michigan, the highest Muslim population in the United States. I went to school with Muslims, I was and am friends with Muslims, and I've had to kick someone's (bleep!) because he was harrassing a girl for wearing a hijab.  Many of them, especially the younger ones my age, will tell you that there is a serious problem in the Muslim community with people supporting, apologizing, or sympathizing with terrorism, and Jihadist ideology. So many Muslim people, or former Muslims recognize the problem, and the threat in their communities.

Hiring a few Goldman Sachs employees is not the same as Obama having his entire cabinet picked out for him by a Bank, a bank that Obama proceeded to "bail out" soon after he was elected. You are attempting to put words in my mouth.

"I'm not a racist, I got black friend" teas.

You've said enough. You are supporting and defending a xenophobic bigot and you are denying crimes against minorities. You are victim blaming. You are ignoring the crimes by neo nazis and implying majority of Muslims support terrorism when they're the ones fighting against it in the Middle East and dying from it. There's no outrage nor sympathy for those victims from Trump and his supporters.

I'll sum this up in 5 words "dismiss anyone you disagree with". This is the exact mentality that left liberals shocked when Trump won (still in denial about it). Because you just were so sure that you were right, and everyone who thought otherwise was stupid. It didn't work out in 2016, and its not going to work anywhere is. Liberal Smugness lost the election, and Hillary was Queen of Smug.

Ok, so as a Libertarian, I am curious of your opinion on the following inquiry:

How exactly do you define a modern Trump Republican-I am differentiating "Trump Republican" from other republicans to showcase to others that might read this post that there indeed is diversity of opinion within your party? You all certainly are neither pro-smaller gov nor pro-cutting spending. You all aren't for free market interaction in trade/commerce (Trump and his cabinet just showcases a different misguided permutation of Keynesianism and protectionism). His cabinet is full of individuals with anti-LGBTQ pasts, so I wouldn't call the cabinet particularly socially liberal. You all (from my perspective) aren't really for the legalization of marijuana. While I am all for the implementation of charter schools, his choice for education secretary (Betsy Devos) was involved in one of the worst charter school systems in the country. What's the appeal? I understand that he "isn't a politician", but is the admiration of him really that shallow?

You don't know me. You are speaking from a place of privilege and arrogance. I am speaking from a place of personal experience. Tell me since we are being judgemental and openly attacking GGD members. How many Muslim people have you met in your life? How about Chaldeans, Syrians, Iraqi's, Iranians, Jordanians, and Lebanese people have you met in your life? How many conversations did you have until 4am discussing politics, life, sex, and food together? You are so judgemental towards me solely because the name I put on my voting slip, so much so that you would be okay with me being banned from a pride parade. So please, educate my ignorant self on Islamic and Arabic culture, because we Trumpsters are so hateful and ignorant, please help me?

lmao hundreds, dude. I have worked with them, visited their homes, looked after their kids, talked politics, you name it. You don't know me or my experiences either, we judge each other based on what we post here and so far, your posts were full of fear mongering (implying majority support or fund terror attacks, posting islamophobic memes), denying islamophobia and crimes against minorities and justifying everything Trump does. Those are your words man, check your posts.

I'm done with being off topic, so you can continue your propaganda.

I can't speak for the whole base, but I can speak for myself, and the others I know personally. To put it simply, we don't believe the two party system is even real anymore. Republicans, and Democrats come and go, they disagree on "wedge issues" like gay marriage, abortion, and things like that. Things to get people heated up, and draw a huge focus, while at the same time the Republicans and Democrats quietly always agree to increase their salary and benefits, give special treatment to the banking elites, and expand the power of the federal reserve, and intelligence community, and export American Industry overseas.  We believe the deep state, not the people of America, has shaped our policy, foreign and domestic at least since we lost John F. Kennedy, and if were to continue as it has for decades, the inevitability would be global war or complete dystopianism. In fact if you read some of the leaks from Hillary, her administration seemed pretty ready to go to war in the first 100 days.

To answer what a Trump Republican in general is and particularly for people who usually vote democrat who chose Trump this year I would say the best definition would be as followed. It was formed by disenfranchised members of the Democratic Party from all races, sexual orientations and walks of life who could no longer indentify with the new, radicial, Anti-American values of the Democratic Party. This new age of young people wanted to be free from the racial, and sexual indentity politics of the past and chose to focus on what brings them together, their love for their country. They have been credited single handed for why Trump won the election.  Trump really isn't the end game. It's about replacing career politicians across the board, if you read Trump message boards or anything, the main strategy right now is  replacing as many seats as possible in the 2018  and 2020 elections . It's going to be a rude awakening the Democrats, and establishment pawns like Paul Ryan and John McCaine.

Oh P.S. so many Trump supporters under 35 voted for Bernie in the Primary. The DNC REALLLY shouldn't have screwed him over like that.

Oh so if you were versed in Islamic culture, you would know about taqiyya and its ripple effect throughout modern Islam. Like how the Mayor of London who is being "brutally attacked by Trump on twitter" who is letting his own people get ACTUALLY attacked on the streets of his city. Yeah, he used to be a lawyer and has defended MANY terrorists in court, including the 9/11 terror suspects. Not many people know about it, and the MSM will never mention that coincidence.

Okay, so I think we can find some common ground here. I would concur that a feeling of disenfranchisement was a predominant catalyst that led to his victory. So, what about actual policy (like I attempted to refer to in my initial inquiry)? Simply saying America first doesn't really imply anything specific towards effective legislation. Let's just start with a specific topic if that's easier: trade. I view free market global interaction as the ideal mechanism by which competition increases, prices decrease, quality increases, and overall consumer utility is optimized. If we utilize tariffs and sanctions to limit goods coming from other countries or to promote the consumption of American-made goods, the prices of those consumer goods and utilities would increase. This makes it more difficult for a consumer to buy those goods (in terms of quantity) due to an increase in price.

As a Trump Republican, I assume you are for protectionism in terms of trade (Trump is nonetheless). Why is this good? Do you think the average consumer (who might be low on cash) would walk into a grocery store, see the increase in prices, and feel an overwhelming sense of patriotism? For example, a good like eggs is very inelastic in terms of demand. Once you limit the supply (shifting the supply curve inward), the price would rise dramatically. How is that advantageous for a struggling consumer?
