Why is it that Hillary and Obama can be OPENLY anti-LGBT, but you are more than willing to accept them "changing" or "evolving their ideas". Trump was NEVER openly anti-LGBT, in fact he is the first President in history to openly support LGBT rights, and gay marriage in his campaign, and he is a homophobic evil man. How is this not the most outrageous double standard?

He doesnt, hasnt and never will accept LGBT rights, its not hard to understand that:awkney:

Obama was probably the most LGBT loving president.

But now many in the US fear their rights are going to be taken away:saladga:

well then GFT can join the protest on the other side of the barricades

they don't need to say anything explicitly homophobic, the fact that they ignore Trump's homophobia says enough

"He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Why should they? They clearly just want to attend and take part in what Pride is all about so i don't see why they shouldn't just because they voted for Trump. Sure, Trump may be an absolute raging homophobe but it's GFT's fault for not realising it sooner. And plus, they may be supporting of his other policies and just overlook the fact that he may not be as pro-LGBT as they thought.

Gays for Trump were not trying to go there to protest honey. They were going there for the same reason as everyone else, to be proud of who they are. I guess it's sad that some gay people don't think we have a right to pride because we differ intellectually and politically. It's so counter productive to civil rights and equality.

and as I said, they can still go... just don't expect people will hand them microphones :awkney:

Obama ran his campaign openly saying "he does not support gay marriage". Trump ran his campaign openly saying he will protect LGBT people and will make no attempt to repeal gay marriage. I really don't know make the double standard more obvious. By the way, your irrational fear =/= to your rights being taken away.

Okay, once again. These are crazy INDIVIDUALS. There is no system of Christian terrorism in place. There is no global Christian terrorist network. There aren't countries funding Christian terrorism groups, and there aren't Christian terrorist groups taking over oil fields and selling that oil to European countries to fund their terrorism. You cannot say the same things about Islam. You cannot ignore that 802 innocent people were killed in the last 13 days in the name of Allah.

f*ck other policies, Pride is about LGBTQIA community and if they don't see that Trump is against their own community, that is their own damn fault and you shouldn't expect anyone to give them platform to defend Lord Tangerine :saladga:

for god's sake, this concept is not that hard to grasp

Pride is for LGBT+ folks, Trump is against them

f*cking choose, you either support one or the other

The reality is the complete oposite:awkney:

He lied to the whole community to get more votes. He used you as saftey net to gain more voters in key swing states. Please do wake up, I'm somewhat worried for you

What part of what I said is untrue? That Obama ran opposing gay marriage? That's fact. That Trump was the first Presidential Candidate in history to openly support LGBT rights and gay marriage? Because that's also fact. You say Trump lied to the whole community to get more votes and use us. That's the only thing that isn't fact, it's your opinion.

You didn't even check the links. They are organized Christian militia in CAR who are forcibly converting or eating (YES EATING) human beings.

White supremacy is an ideology which has killed people in the West because of their religion or color of their skin. Or for standing up against bigotry and hatred, most recently in Portland which Trump barely acknowledged on his potus handle (it was most likely WH staffer).

Not to mention terrorist Breivik, or the guy who stabbed black homeless person in NYC in attempt to start racial war. Or the guy in Quebec who killed 6 people in the mosque. Or the Polish white supremacist who killed old Pakistani man in UK and planted bombs in several mosques. The list is huge, but you don't have meme for that. You don't keep track ON PURPOSE. It doesn't suit your agenda.

I can't believe Gays for Trump is a thing, but they shouldn't be banned. If they want to show pride, I see no reason why they can't attend. It's mind boggling to be proud of your LGBTQ identity and support an administration trying to erase it, but banning them only makes the Pride event look bad and non-inclusive.

Okay the first one you linked, is not a terrorist group, no matter how much you may disagree with them. How they've brain washed the people of Uganda and some other African countries, is as tragic as it is sick. How in the world can you use that one small example to downplay what is a GLOBAL PROBLEM of Islamic Terrorism. What compels you to backhandedly defend them?

Pride is something that someone should be able to attend no matter who they support politically. If they want to go to show their support and/or show their pride in themselves for being apart of the LGBT community, then why the hell shouldn't they? I absolutely agree that Trump is not pro-LGBT and it is GFT's fault for not seeing that, but at the same time, they shouldn't be silenced and suppressed. They want to attend Pride as gay people, so they should be able to 100% do that. Plain and simple. If you don't like them being there, then you can do one simple thing. Ignore them and enjoy yourself.
