They clearly just want to attend and take part in what Pride is all about so i don't see why they shouldn't just because they voted for Trump. Sure, Trump may be an absolute raging homophobe but it's GFT's fault for not realising it sooner. Trump ran his campaign openly saying he will protect LGBT people and will make no attempt to repeal gay marriage. I really don't know make the double standard more obvious. If they want to show pride, I see no reason why they can't attend. It's mind boggling to be proud of your LGBTQ identity and support an administration trying to erase it, but banning them only makes the Pride event look bad and non-inclusive. If they want to go to show their support and/or show their pride in themselves for being apart of the LGBT community, then why the hell shouldn't they? I absolutely agree that Trump is not pro-LGBT and it is GFT's fault for not seeing that, but at the same time, they shouldn't be silenced and suppressed. They want to attend Pride as gay people, so they should be able to 100% do that. Plain and simple. If you don't like them being there, then you can do one simple thing.
