I live in the south and the amount of arrogant, self-righteous Bible-thumpers I hear from on a daily basis is unreal. Their "wisdom" is based on a book written thousands of years ago, whereas ours usually come from basic human morality. This isn't about a "difference of opinion" anymore. I'm f*cking tired of people saying "Oh, well, it's just my opinion and you need to respect that". How about you respect your community and others along with it? How about you see people as people instead of blaming everything on literally everone/everything else but the problem. When people are afraid to be who they are—whether that be their religion, their ethnicity, their sexual orientation, etc—then that becomes and issue. Stop trying to defend a bigot. Because he understands that Christian bakers aren't the gay communities biggest threat, its all the Muslims that the democrats want to bring in that actually want us dead. Gays can support whoever they want. It is unfortunate that Pride refuses to accept that gays come in a variety of ways. I am a proud gay man and a proud Trump supporter.
