jeabus1 78 Posted June 8, 2017 Share Posted June 8, 2017 Members of a gay, pro-Donald Trump group in North Carolina are considering taking legal action after they were prohibited from participating in the upcoming “Charlotte Pride” festival and parade. A Charlotte Pride spokesperson said the organization reserves the right to deny applications from groups that “do not reflect the mission, vision and values of our organization,” a local Fox affiliate reported. Brian Talbert, of Gays for Trump, said his group shouldn’t be vilified for supporting the president. “We wanted to show that we weren’t the racist, bigot, misogynist whatevers,” he told Fox. “We wanted to show that we are Americans, love our country and our president. Pride Parades are supposed to be about inclusiveness and they represent a figure that represents divisiveness and intolerance.
