Like I already said, it is possible that they have life detection techology and new forms of better and faster communication. They could be the ones looking for life. Possible. But aliens that advanced probably dont even exist in our form anymore I believe something simmilar to what @Interstellar suggested with my own twist Intelligent life may be quite rare. Perhaps only a few per galaxy at one time... and in all likely-hood the few intelligent civilizations that exist are at the very least several thousand years apart in advancement Some other intelligent life could simply be too primative to even have any understanding of space let alone try to find anyone... On the other hand the next most advanced race after us on the chain could be so advanced that they no longer exist in Corporial form as we know it (for too many reasons to list its likely that races would eventually choose to transfer their contiousness to another form of living). And many races may not even get there if they end in self-anihalation first There is a good chance humans are the most advanced race in MilkyWay that still exist in Corporial form and if we try to find other advanced races like us in planets with real civilizations that could understand us, we likely wont find it because there arent any Life on Earth also started shortly after The first generation of starts exploded and created the more complex elements... There is a real good chance we are one of the few species to have reached this stage we are in now When i say we are among the first few i mean on a colosal scale. If each Galaxy on average had at least 1 race reach our level wed still be talking hundreds of billions of races on our observable universe alone!!! ZephyrInTheSky 1,235
I was thinking about this again after watching a video and the thought came to mind "What if aliens are just technology? What if they communicate with us through our phones, computers, etc" They're like a frequency and we can't really see them, kinda like wifi. Hopefully i made some of u a little more paranoid TBH. He did say they're under our noses. There can be 99 bottoms in the area but all it takes is 1 top to believe in you.

I believe that there have been cataclysms that have erased the footprints and memories of a lot of prehistory, but i am absolutely convinced that humans have had civilizations that went back wayyyyyy earlier than even the ancient Egyptians (10,000 years ago at least.) We are talking about intelligent life here. 10,000 years ago is about when humans evolved past a primitive state into a more critical thinking state, and that's what we are using as a base of comparison. 0110100001100101011011000110110001101111

When there are how many homeless, needy, malnourished people living in poverty on the planet...? It's disturbing. Gurl......... There will always be poverty, homeless, needy, malnourished people. That doesn't mean that you negate "The Final Frontier" because of it! You can try to reduce those horrible things, while exploring & researching space too. Doesn't have to be just one or the other.
