Have you all seen the discography of David Bowie or Stevie Wonder etc? They've not always been #1 everywhere on the charts but still are remembered as the big artist that they are. Why do you all always remember Gaga's singles with their chart positions? It makes you all think negative when the real beauty is her artistry. Charts define nothing.

And yes, I loved the ''outcome'' after the LG5 lead single announcement.

 

Your argument is out of context for this thread, but I feel you (PI fan here).

 

I used flop pertaining to the hype that we built before certain events happened.

The hype for Perfect Illusion is kinda flop because most monsters expected the song to sound like TFM, even the visuals (she never fails to shock us with that).

We are also hyped with LG5 because we thought it would be inspired by her Countess role in AHS hotel (she said it in an interview before). Then it's a flop because Joanne is not as dark as most of us expected.

So does the Grammys, the tv commercials were very promising but the actual performance is not as much as we expected (based from the teasers).
