I don't think he will be that easily forgotten. He released "Baby" in 2010... It's 2017 and he keeps getting huge, huge hits. Before his latest album Purpose, I would agree with you. His career was not evolving, he was getting messier and it looked like he was having a sort of a breakdown. No one would say he would release new music and have one of the most successful eras of his career, both commercially and critically. He was the one who brought tropical pop to the scene (well, not him of course, his producers, but he is the face). I'm starting to believe he will always be able, somehow, to come back and do something relevant.

That's true but his success is mostly credited to his "good" looks which attract hordes of girls. His music, for the most part, follows trends and is not going to age well imo. Once his looks fade and his crappy attitude persists into his 30s and 40s, he will be dropped by the GP for sure. But only time will tell I guess.

That's the thing, I'm not sure it does... Before him there was no tropical pop in the radios. He did that one song with Skrillex and Diplo, released his album and bam, tropical pop became the new hit trend. If he was able to create a new trend, why can't it happen again? It would be like saying Gaga can't make something as impactful as Just Dance or Bad Romance ever again (and no one is ready to admit that :giggle:). Yes, when I look at him I see someone who will become a junkie in his 30s, but I still think he can come back with new music still hit the charts. He works with the right producers, what can we do. He's probably the male Rihanna.

You didn't need to add "Despacito" in the title

I see why Bieber fans are upset: on Spotify, on the WorldWide Charts, the ORIGINAL Despacito is #1... Bieber's version is not included.

EDIT: It's the same for the US version.
