The thing that breaks my heart the most is the fact that a parent could turn their back on their child over something that they have no control over. There are kids in my LGBT circle who have parents like this and so I've taken them in because they had no where else to go. Their only crime is being who God made them. They aren't broken. Stop trying to fix them. When you sign your name on that dotted line to bring your bundle of joy home from the hospital, that signature doesn't mean abandon them when they don't turn out how you want them to.
