Is Katy Using Taylor For Promo?

The Taylor vs. Katy beef is years in the making.

When Bad Blood was first released (while Taylor was at the top of her game), Katy was very cryptic and wouldn't peep a word about it other than shady tweets.

Now, Katy is in her (failing) album cycle and NOW wants to bring up the beef? Seems like pathetic promo to me. And she's doing it in a way that makes her seem like a hero, by saying if "women come together, the world will heal" yet she is slandering another woman on a talk show and radio show rather than reaching out to her again privately. 

Taylor attacked Katy publicly.

Katy attacked Taylor publicly.

Except one did it while they were at the top of the charts.

The only difference is that Taylor has always wrote about personal stuff to her. By the time Bad Blood was released, she had already had two #1 singles from 1989, so she didn't need anymore promo. It was a song that was about something personal to her. She also never used Katy's name, however fans put the pieces together.

Katy doesn't write her own music, which is why Swish Swish is a sad attempt as a diss track. It contains nothing from Katy's own mind about the ordeal. And Swish Swish is the third single from an otherwise failing album so for her to be so direct about the incident twice and so harshly throw Taylor under the bus within 24 hours is so pathetic imo.

Taylor has literally used everyone on the planet for promo in this same exact way. Everyone she's ever interacted with is mentioned in one of her songs. So I have to assume by now that she's a big girl and can take it.

Tbh this whole beef isn't even about that big of an issue, so if/when both of them have finally milked this beef until it's empty, both of them are probably gonna kiss & make up & be friends again.

Just because a person writes about personal matters doesn't justify anything in this matter. The whole incident was initiated by HER. (her being in her prime or #1 single doesn't provide any substance to the point your trying to make)

Neither am I advocating for Katy, what she did was also pretty poor.. 

They're both at wrong, then again these kind of "diss" tracks at each other gain lots of traction from media, so they're just working the GP as usual.

Nnnnnnnn I would say the incident was initiated by Katy for wanting her dancers back so...

And the point I'm trying to make is Katy is directly using Taylor for promo because her songs are falling off the charts, but Taylor never needed Katy for promo because she was already at the top of the charts. She just had a good song about a girl who sabotaged her.
