donutellha 13,819
Damn that was ****ing album it was. It managed to defy pop culture, defined a new subculture, and created a home for the misfits. <3 Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting. Tommy Giovanni 46
I was so depressed back then. I was 15 and i grabbed myself one-for-one cheap bottles of red wine from the supermarket with my fake ID, put on my earpiece and blasted this masterpiece at 3AM in my underwear in the living room. Drunk, crying and simultaneously sending messy tweets. Can't remember much afterwards except for my ex housemate's horrified expression, the fact that i puked shitload and how good Heavy Metal Lover, Highway Unicorn and Scheibe sounded high. The fact that it's been 6 years.... makes me want to hug my 15 year-old self. Thank God Gaga didn't go down the bubblegum pop route during those days. Born To Slay 10,996
I was 11 years old then. I'm 17 now. I still remember getting the album in the mail since I preordered it. I remember opening it and putting it on my DVD player and blasting it from beginning to end. I had a hard second half of that year. Born This Way came just in time. I needed it. the shy guy 43
I was just about done with my freshman year of high school when this came out... I remember I made my dad drive me to Best Buy right after school so I could buy a copy! The 20 minute ride home and the almost 10 minute battle to get the plastic off felt like forever.... It quickly became my favorite album ever. Now, as I prepare to start my senior year of college in the fall, nothing has changed in that regard. This album has seen me through many a hard time, and it's hard to believe it's been 6 years. A-yo, A-yo..... We smokin' em all

HausOfHarlow 380
I was 17 and graduated high school that day. My physical album was going to arrive late but I caved and listened to the 30 second iTunes spoilers. It was so good! I was hella confused at the time and still trying to find myself, my true self. The album came at the perfect time - a summer to reflect who I really was before heading off to college. 6 years later, I still call this the greatest of my lifetime. I am listening to it currently and jamming out in my room! Such an conic work of art! Born This Way, Judas, Hair, Scheiße, BJ+AF, Heavy Metal Lover... uhhhhh so good!!! Bloody hooker 6,445
It seems like it just came out yesterday. I was 13 going on 14 that year. I remember constantly popping my innocent pu**y to the GH and Scheiße Mugler previews. Once the album leaked, I was constantly singing the hymn that is Electric Chapel. This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare.
