Stop, the era was a mess. You probably weren't even here apparently, since everyone that was in the charts thread know Applause was horribly managed.

Two TV performances (one on the MTV Awards when they still matters), and the release of the video in the first month since release isn't a missmanagement by any mean. Is perfectly ok.

That's why I said that this fanbase is traumatized. Applause era was ok, but most of people aren't able to see it because it didn't reach #1, all the Perez breakdown thing, and the flop scalping. ARTPOP era was a mess, but didn't started as bad as it ends, not even near.

I envy the Katycats right now. They expected Katy to smash like roar, and then it did worse than Applause charts wise with CTTR, then flopped hard with BA and scrapped all, and rushed a new single, that isn't smashing either but they are happy, and have adapted to the new situation. They have more hope than what us wil never have again, and always try to focus in the positive. Probably they are delusional, but at least they are happy.

I stopped doing it when she was added in Hits Du Moment at #5 to keep her high on hits du moment

I even asked french monsters to do it,

since then, they moved it down to #45

so I stopped and came back on Today's Top Hits

I'm not sure if the positions on the playlists are about popularity of the song tbh.

I was perfectly content with where things were prior to Coachella, and then she released TC which started strong just to go MIA and let everything fly off of the rails.

The Cure could just be renamed The Playlists.

I didn't say anything was "wrong" with it, I'm saying it's not matching with whats generally on radio currently.
