Too bad they dropped it so soon :'( I'm sure we'll be given more context one day in an interview or something, but Joanne wasn't selling poorly and MR was a hit single, so it's still very weird to me that the era was suddenly ended. ARTPOP clearly had issues going on so it made sense that the era ended, BTW had run its course when MTN flopped (but also the album was slowing down), etc. Joanne was selling decently, had its place with a radio single, had a tour sold out quickly..
