One of her most admirable qualities as a pop artist is that she took her artistic vision for a song to heart. Videos were an event. Y'all bitching about no video now but if the video turns out to be basic then you will still complain. She's shooting a movie, organizing and designing for the tour while mourning for Sonja's death. They literally cut the Joanne era short for Gaga to re-connect with the pop audience. As they did, they decided to push it hard on Spotify and on social media, pushed it on radio to some extent. Now that it's clear the song is basically not going anywhere further with what they invested, we are facing two scenarios - either Gaga is gonna do a mv and promote it or they're gonna drop it completely. I hope I'm right and they get back to releasing singles from Joanne when the tour starts. I can't wait to forget about this song and pretend it never existed.
