I was about to say the same thing. Gay people are living, breathing, have emotions; they exist. Religion is not living, it does not have feelings, no one is born believing in an entity that lives somewhere in the sky.

This is one case. In most cases religious nuts just want gays to just "convert" or "stop being gay" (conversion therapy, pray the gay away etc.) 

So it all comes down to one thing which is ignorance. If that disappears, both will be able to coexist happily. Sadly that is wishful thinking.

It's funny that after all the discriminations that caused by religion and the whole anti-democracy and anti-human rights concept in it, when the fingers now are pointed to religious people, they are screming discrimination, that it's against democracy and it's their human right... this is hypocrisy.

I can't argue someone who thinks religion equals ignorance, as if religion was such a one-dimentional subject that can be dismissed with a blunt statement. of course, it's not even a questions or needs to be claimed, it's by default because they are religious so they have all the rights to torture, to kill and to make pain to anyone who is a risk to their religion or going against god's will, and it is god's will to kill gays! this is why the world is burning and everyday you see something new and disgusting that caused by religious people..

It's important to know that the more we are progressing and leaving religion behind, the more the religious people will go extreme and fight us to keep it alive and well and even more extreme, they are simply scared, the world is changing, religion will be gone little by little, we might not be here to see it but we are here to start this process..
