She's had so many, and it's not really that important anymore. She's had a lot of success, so I'm thrilled!

I agree single choice has been a huge problem, even in the BTW era. Scheiße would've done better than You and I and Judas.

wrong.  You and I should have been the lead.

Her music isn't as easy to consume for the public anymore. She's not the new it pop girl on the scene. She's solidified herself as a true artist, and that doesn't interest people.

am I the only one who wants a smash hit because of the $$$ ? if gaga gets another #1 that means more budget for her videos and performances and I really want a big video with a huge budget! the last video that she really served was g.u.y and she paid for it. I adore Gaga but sometimes she disappoints me with her marketing choices  :madge:

I get where your coming from @Dorothy Gale

wether you love Gaga for the music or charts it's still frustrating to see other artist have major success chart wise when the one you stan for hasn't in a long time. I do also find it very weird that Gaga hasn't had a number 1 in quite some time. Like someone else had posted recently if " the cure " can't do it, I don't know what will

I hate that I get slammed for this, because I feel like charts do matter to some degree as much as fans ignore them.

Because the singles haven't been interesting/good/trendy/fun/smart enough since the ARTPOP/BTW era. Imo Applause is her last really strong single (DWUW is great but it only didn't smash because it didn't have a video)

The Cure is the weakest Gaga single of all times imo

Wich is why I feel double about it not smashing

I would love to have another Gaga smash

but The Cure is legit so much worse than any of her previous songs :awkney: including on Joanne (I love Joanne )

I wish I had the time and stressfree life to meltdown over my favorite popstar not smashing :awkney:

Money really isn't an issue for her though, she's been making big money every year even though she hasn't had as much success musically

I mean, think about it, she's already a legend. She's already comparable to Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Madonna etc. She has like another 30-40 years, imagine what that can bring!

You started stanning by the time Gaga started changing her team, which really made her change directions till today. She doesn't seem to be into major success anymore, just small progresses.

Gaga's music is not on trend at the moment, to put it simply.

The Cure was never going to smash - it's not really being pushed by Gaga or her team. It's a fun song though - it's been really well received and that's what I think she needed going forward.

And even if Gaga was trendy now, the last #1 smash by a solo woman was Hello, and previously Shake It Off in 2014 (or you can count AATB by Meghan but it didn't 'smash').

Solo female hits are currently extinct. Gaga needs to collaborate with a male for a smash, and we know that it won't happen.

You do realize that our environment is being **** on, atrocities on human lives are happening around the globe, and minorities are still don't have equal rights... and this is what pisses you off?

Girl :toofunny:

I wish Gaga could pull off a top 10 hit but then I move on. It's called being an adult.
