Madonna voice?

So you all know Im one of the biggest Madonna fans on this forums!

But dors anyone else think that Madonna needs to start training her voice? I feel like she never really trained her voice besides for Evita/ROL but it was never a problem. But as she has gottne older her voice has definitely gotten weaker and more shrill. And its a little obvious she's relying on autotune a lot more now. And I think that training it would return it to ROL like voice!

Anyone else think that she should start training her voice again and will she??

I think any artist who's been going for a while and has a lot of notoriety should continue to better themselves for the sake of their integrity and their fans. I feel like it's just lazy, and sad for the fans to see them not giving a sh.it, if they let their voices go to crap and just use autotune. Or it's arrogant because they think they don't need to sound good or that they're stuck in their ways.

These celebrities have millions of dollars, and enough free time. I just think, if I were a famous singer, I'd want to always be working on my voice to keep it sounding great. How could you not?

It's a pet peeve of mine actually.

Edit: it's one of the things I really love about Gaga. After all these years of success she still sings live, and is still learning to make her voice better and better. She puts in weeks of vocal training before big performances. It's so admirable.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

I think she needs to take some time off to raise those two twins she adopted and to solve her previous family problems, and during that she can use some vocal training to clean the dust off those pipes.

Best example of this is Patti Labelle. She is 70-something and sounds just as good as she did when she was young :diane:

Madonna is a pop vocalist. Although she doesn't have the pipes a la Whitney Houston, her voice can fill up a wide variety of songs. She's also mastered the art of auto-tune. Confessions on a Dance Floor would not have happened without auto-tune.

If only some people on this site were not shady 24/7.  On topic, yes she should work more on that department. She has gotten lazy since 2008 and even as a fan i have to admit it.

No, its when she cant produce the goods anymore. That happend like 15years ago. She should just retire and save everyones ears from her voice. She has like adopted children that need looking after.

This is the same attitude that will tear Gaga's career apart when she hits 40. Age does not validate one's purpose in the music industry, start getting used to that.

No, nothing is wrong with auto-tune. Contemporary dance music and auto-tune go hand in hand and Madonna successfully did that with Confessions.

Exactly! That's dedication to being an artist! There is such a difference between and artist who is passionate about performing and delivering quality, and one who has become comfortable delivering sub-par performances to get a pay check.

I expect this will be Gaga when she's 70. At the least I hope this is Gaga when she's 70. She's a very passionate artist so I expect she won't be able to help herself lol.
