Dutch 89,788
So, I'm reliving our past years again. The moment everything changed for the Netherlands. Now I'm listening to it again, I love it even more. Maybe because I do get the song now. This should've been so much higher. Thank god Anouk did this and we're doing so much better now. Here is Anouk with Birds: From this moment Anouk opened doors in the Netherlands. Now we are sending our best artists to Eurovision and I do think Anouk inspired more countries to send quality again. But so did Waylon and Ilse DeLange with The Common Linnets. Who would've thought in 2012 that we would score a #2 placing two years later? Nobody in the world, not even when they released Calm After The Storm. After The Netherlands was over the moon to be in the final again with Anouk, we almost won (and maybe deserved to win too). This is one of the best stagings in the Eurovision history: But then everything went wrong. We picked Trijntje and everything went wrong. She is one of the best singers from the Netherlands, but Why, ay, ay, ay she picked a mediocre radio song? I liked it, but it's not her genre, it not authentic. And to make it even worse the staging happened. After The Common Linnets it's weird to see us fail so hard again. The song was good enough to qualify, but the staging totally ruined it. We picked up the pieces and licked our wounds. We learned our lesson. We picked a smaller artist this time without a big name in the Netherlands. But once again a singer with a own style, good vocals and good looks. Douwe Bob learned from Trijntje and picked a song that was totally his style and authentic to him. The staging was a little bit like The Common Linnets, but less magical. The little moment of silence made it memorable. We qualified again and Douwe Bob proved we are not gonna make a flop year put us down again. And then we had potential to win again. We finally decided to send my queens OG3NE. Those harmonies should've made them win alone. I love Lights and Shadows, I love the whole story behind it. Yet the song was a bit dated, with a more current ballad this could've been our top 5 score again. It's a pity that their talent was a little bit wasted like this. I hope they decided to go again with a better song. Like Douwe Bob we once again qualified and again ended 11th in the final. Now it's Waylon his turn again. I'm not a hug fan of Waylon, but his vocals never disappoints. He always delivers everything on stage. Then I surprisingly really liked the song he picked and believed this could do well. The staging made it impossible to finish in the top 5, but then again, we qualified once again. Btw, I only can find two country songs in this list and they are both from Waylon. I don't get how people are saying that we're sending Country songs every year. Anyhow, I can't wait for 2019.

Dutch 89,788
I think the results will be like 2016. For example: Jury: Estonia. Televote: Cyprus. Winner: Israel.
